It's not actively regenerating as far as I can tell, and I do a lot of long journeys. The vehicle inspection confirms excessive backpressure. Code is P2002. So, if you were a betting man, you’d put money on a new DPF?

P2002 confirms it. It is the DPF. Given the mileage, and the fact it's not regenerating, replacement is highly likely. I would advise going to the workshop.

I had a new DPF fitted, and it cost 1550€. Now the car runs like new again.

That definitely sounds like a blocked DPF. Has it tried to regenerate recently? You'd usually notice that. Have you had a vehicle inspection done? What error code did it throw?
