Peugeot 807 Electric Seat Fault

Hi, I'm having trouble with the passenger electric seat in my 2004 Peugeot 807 (gasoline engine). The diagnostic tool shows an error stored in the memory, and the seat won't adjust at all. I've checked the fuses, but they seem fine. Could a heavily discharged battery cause this?

I had a similar issue with my 807's electric seats a while back. Have you checked the seat harness and wiring underneath the seat? Sometimes they can get loose or damaged, especially if something was stored underneath. It's a common spot for problems.

Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely check the seat harness. Where exactly should I be looking for damage? Is it usually near the seat motor or closer to the seat switch?

In my case, it was closer to where the harness connects to the seat frame. The wires had rubbed against the metal. Honestly, if you're not comfortable messing with it, it might be best to take it to a workshop. Electrical issues can be tricky.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I took it to a workshop, and it turned out to be a faulty connection in the seat wiring harness, just like you suggested. The repair cost was 290€. All sorted now!
