Peugeot 807 Engine Issues
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Peugeot 807 diesel is experiencing engine issues, including a persistent check engine light, rough running, stalling when idling, and jerking during acceleration. The suspected cause is a faulty fuel pressure sensor, which could affect fuel injector timing and fuel economy. After consulting with others who had similar issues, the problem was confirmed to be the fuel pressure sensor, and replacing it resolved the engine problems.

Cheers for the reply! I've been reading up on it, and it seems like it's not too bad to get to, thankfully. But before I start fiddling, could you tell me if those were definitely your symptoms too? What exactly did you do to fix it?

Yep, those were definitely my symptoms. To be honest, I'm not mechanically minded, so I just took it straight to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly.

Okay, cheers for the advice. I'll get it booked in at the local garage then. It WAS the fuel pressure sensor, like I suspected. Cost me 95€ all in. Running smooth as butter now!

Blimey, that sounds familiar! I've got a Peugeot 807 myself, although a slightly older model. Had almost the exact same symptoms a while back - check engine light, rough idle, the works. I'm no mechanic, but is the fuel pressure sensor difficult to get to?
