Thanks for the info. I'm not super familiar with those parts. Where exactly is the charcoal filter located, and is it something I could potentially replace myself, or should I leave it to a pro?

On my Astra, it was near the fuel tank. However, I wouldn't recommend tackling it yourself unless you have some experience. Given the location and potential fumes, it's probably best to take it to a workshop. They can properly diagnose the leak and ensure everything is sealed correctly afterwards.

Thanks for the advice! Took it to a shop, and you were spot on. Defective charcoal filter in the fuel tank ventilation system. 275€ later, it's fixed. Appreciate the help!

That sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my old Opel Astra. Same symptoms, check engine light and occasional stalling. It turned out to be a defective activated charcoal filter in the emission control system. Have you checked the pressure sensor or purge valve? A leak detection test might be useful.
