Peugeot 807 Fuel Pump Cable Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2007 Peugeot 807 diesel was experiencing starting issues, stalling, rough running, increased fuel consumption, and a check engine light. The problem was suspected to be related to a defective fuel pump cable. After checking the error code and consulting with a mechanic, it was confirmed that the issue was indeed a faulty fuel pump connection. Replacing the cable and plug resolved the issues, restoring the vehicle's performance.

The error code points to the fuel pump itself. You mentioned a dodgy connection. Where exactly should I be looking for this dodgy connection? Is there a common spot where the cable might be damaged or corroded?

For me it was indeed the fuel pump connection - at the pump itself. Visual check is difficult. I would suggest going to a workshop, it is most likely something they can sort out quickly. Good luck!

Thanks for the insight. Took it to a mechanic, and you were spot on. It was a defective fuel pump cable. New cable and plug, cost me 95€. Runs like new!

Sounds familiar. I also drive an 807 diesel. Had similar issues. Have you checked the error code? Could be the fuel pump relay or even just a dodgy connection. High fuel consumption definitely points to fuel delivery problems.
