Peugeot 807 multifunction steering wheel issue

I'm having a weird issue with my 2011 Peugeot 807 diesel. The multifunction steering wheel is totally dead – nothing works! I'm getting an error stored in the memory. Anyone else experienced this? Already checked basic fuses.

Sounds familiar. I had similar with my 807. Have you checked the cable connection inside the steering wheel housing? That's where my problem was.

Interesting. Where exactly is this cable connection? Is it easy to access or do I need special tools?

Yeah, it's inside the steering wheel itself. Honestly, unless you're super confident, I'd just take it to a workshop. That's what I ended up doing. Safer to let them handle the airbag.

Thanks. Took your advice and brought it in. Turns out it was a defective cable connection in the steering wheel, just like you said. Cost me 95€ to fix. Appreciate the heads-up!
