Peugeot 807 Reduced Engine Power

I'm having a strange issue with my 2014 Peugeot 807, diesel engine. Reduced engine power and an error stored. Mileage is at 99885 km. I've read that a defective main relay can cause ECU issues. Anyone else had a similar experience?

Sounds familiar. I had something similar happen on my 807. Limp mode and error codes. Have you tried a system reset? It might clear things up temporarily, but if it keeps happening, it's probably more than just a glitch.

Thanks for the quick response. System reset as in disconnecting the battery? And did you ever figure out the root cause? Was it actually the ECU?

Yeah, disconnecting the battery for like 30 mins is the basic reset I meant. In my case, the symptoms kept coming back. Ended up being a faulty relay causing the ECU to act up. Best to get it properly diagnosed at a workshop though, just to be sure.

Appreciate the insight! Sounds like the relay is the most probable cause. The workshop confirmed it today - defective main relay. ECU repair cost me 120€. Thanks again for the help!
