Good call on the fuses, I hadn't thought of that! I checked, but that wasn't it. No prior warnings, it was working one day and then nothing the next. Strange.

If the fuses are fine and there were no prior warnings, it sounds like a more significant electrical fault within the steering column. I'd recommend having a workshop perform a diagnostic check. They'll have the tools and expertise to pinpoint the cause.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a local garage as suggested. It was a faulty connector. They fixed the cable, cleared the error, and now it's working. Cost me 95€, which I think is fair.

I had a similar issue with my 807's steering column. Did you notice any prior indication of the problem, like intermittent function or unusual noises, before it failed? Also, have you checked the fuses? That's the first thing I'd do.
