Peugeot 807 tire pressure sensor fault

I have a 2005 Peugeot 807 with a gasoline engine, and the tire pressure sensor is driving me nuts. I keep getting 'Tire pressure too low' warnings, and there's an error message constantly flashing. I hooked it up to a diagnostic tool, and it's storing a sensor fault. I suspect the sensor battery is dead, but is there anything else I should check before replacing the sensors?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my 807. Same symptoms. Have you actually checked the tire pressures manually to rule out a genuine flat tire or slow leak?

Yeah, I checked the tire pressure religiously the last few weeks. They're all fine. That's why I'm leaning towards a faulty sensor. Did yours end up being the sensor as well? What was the fix?

Yep, it was the sensor. Unfortunately, the batteries in those things don't last forever. I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop. They can pinpoint which sensor is failing and replace it.

Okay, thanks for confirming. I was hoping to avoid the workshop, but it sounds like it's the only way. Just got the bill - 280€ for replacing the faulty sensor. Ouch!
