Peugeot 807 transmission issue

Hi, I have a 2010 Peugeot 807 diesel with 152999 km. The transmission indicator and check engine light are on. The automatic transmission is in emergency mode and doesn't shift correctly, slipping with grinding noises. A diagnostic shows an error related to defective radiator oil pressure. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone seen this?

I had a similar ordeal with my 807 – a nightmare, really. Your symptoms mirror mine: transmission indicator and check engine lights, emergency mode, and grinding noises. Do you see any coolant fluid on the floor after parking? Did you check the pressure sensor?

Thanks for the quick reply! I'm relieved and worried to hear that someone else experienced this. No visible coolant leakage, but I will check the pressure sensor. Did your diagnosis point to defective radiator oil pressure?

Yes, the radiator oil pressure was the culprit. After research, I went to a workshop. I recommend you do the same. These symptoms are unsettling, and I wouldn't try fixing it myself.

Thanks for your help. I went to the workshop, and you were right, the pressure sensor cable needs replacement, as predicted. Repair cost around 95€. Thanks again for sharing your experience!
