Peugeot Bipper Engine Power Loss
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Peugeot Bipper with a gasoline engine experienced reduced engine power and stored an error in the error memory. The issue was suspected to be related to the engine control unit (ECU). A similar case with a Renault Megane suggested checking the main relay, which can cause intermittent power supply issues to the ECU. Upon professional diagnosis, it was confirmed that a defective main relay was indeed the cause of the problem, leading to successful repair.

Thank you for the insight. Could you please provide more detail on which parts to check and how?

Well, in my case, it wasn't a simple fix I could do myself. I tried checking fuses and connections, but ultimately, I took it to a workshop. They confirmed the relay was causing intermittent power supply issues to the ECU, hence the weird errors. Best to get it properly diagnosed to be sure.

Understood, thank you. I followed your suggestion and brought it to a workshop. The diagnosis confirmed a defective main relay causing issues with the engine control unit. The repair cost was 120€. Appreciate the help!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane. Same symptoms - loss of power, error codes popping up. Turned out to be a faulty main relay messing with the ECU. Might be worth checking that before you go too deep into ECU diagnostics.
