Peugeot Bipper Injection Nozzle Issue

My 2009 Peugeot Bipper with a gasoline engine is struggling to start, fuel consumption is up, and power is down. Idling is uneven, and it's stalled a few times. I suspect a defective, maybe clogged, injection nozzle. Any ideas?

Sounds plausible. Have you tried fuel additives to clean the injectors? Dirty injectors are a common cause. How many kilometers?

Thanks! I haven't tried additives yet. The odometer reads 144866 km. Do you think a fuel additive will do the trick, or do I need a more thorough cleaning or replacement at this mileage? Trying to avoid a costly repair, but reliability is key.

At that mileage, and with those symptoms, it's likely more than just a simple cleaning. Fuel additives might help a little, but the problem will probably return. It's best to get it properly diagnosed and probably replaced. A workshop is your safest bet.

I took your advice and brought it to a mechanic. They confirmed the injection nozzles were defective. The total repair cost, including replacement and labor, was 515€. It was expensive, but the Bipper is running smoothly again. Thanks!
