Fuel efficiency is hard to say, I wasn't really paying attention to be honest! No weird noises, just a general feeling of sluggishness, and that check engine light mocking me. You mention the pressure sensor – is that easy to check, or am I better off just taking it to a shop?

Honestly, based on what I've experienced, if the check engine light is on and you're already suspecting fuel delivery issues after changing the filter, I'd lean towards a fuel pressure regulator problem. The error entry after changing the fuel filter makes me think your experience will follow mine. For me that was enough troubleshooting. Probably best to visit someone who knows what they're doing and has the right tools to diagnose the problem properly. It could save you a lot of time and headache.

Thanks a bunch for the insights! Took it to the shop as you suggested, and you were spot on – it was the fuel pressure regulator, likely messed up when I changed the filter. 45€ and it runs like a charm again. I really appreciate the help!

Sounds familiar! I had something similar happen with my Bipper. Did you notice any difference in fuel efficiency before all this started? Any weird noises or surging when you accelerate? It might also be worth checking the pressure sensor since it does sound like some pressure drop somewhere
