Peugeot Bipper start stop issue
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Peugeot Bipper with a gasoline engine experienced a malfunction in its start-stop system, where the engine would shut off but then display an error and warning light. The suspected cause was a discharged battery. After taking the vehicle to a workshop, it was confirmed that the battery was indeed the issue, and replacing it resolved the problem.

Yes, an error is stored. Did you also see a light in the speedometer?

Ah, okay. Yes, I remember now, the warning light too. If you get an error stored, then I'd definitely get it checked. My mechanic said it was the battery, and I had to replace it. I'd take it to a workshop just to be safe.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the shop, and you were right, the battery was the issue. New battery and diagnostics were 290€, and now it's working again!

Oh no, that's not good! I had something similar happen with my old Opel Corsa. The eco mode was acting up and the car kept stalling. Is the error stored in the memory?
