Peugeot Boxer reduced engine power

My 2000 Peugeot Boxer with a gasoline engine has reduced engine power and a stored error code. Could this be a defective engine control unit? Has anyone seen this?

Hey, I had something similar with my Boxer. Reduced power and an error code. Have you checked the main relay? That was the culprit in my case. Is it clicking like crazy when you turn the key?

Where is the main relay located and what are the indicators of malfunction besides the clicking?

For me the relay was the issue. After replacing it everything was smooth again. Honestly, chasing electrical gremlins is a pain. If you're not sure, maybe have a workshop take a look. They can diagnose it properly. It was a quick fix for me in the end.

I appreciate your advice. I will investigate the main relay. Considering the symptoms and your experience, it seems a plausible cause. If the issue persists, I will seek professional assistance from a qualified workshop. Replacing the main relay solved the issue. Repair cost: 120€ Thanks for your help!
