Peugeot Boxer sporadic errors

Hi, I have a 2021 Peugeot Boxer (electric engine). I'm getting a fault message, and it's causing some weirdness. I'm seeing sporadic errors in driving mode, and sometimes the error lamps light up. The audio/navigation functions are failing, and sometimes the control units shut down temporarily or become unresponsive. I checked the error memory, and there's definitely an error stored. Anyone seen this before?

Sounds familiar. I had similar issues with my old BMW 3 series. The symptoms you describe, like the system failures and control unit problems, point towards a BUS system issue. Did you check the cable connections?

BUS system? Cable connections? Can you elaborate a little more on that?

The BUS system is how the various control modules communicate with each other. If a cable connection to one of those modules is faulty, it can cause all sorts of weird errors, like the ones you're seeing. If the fault is there and known it is better to get it checked properly in a workshop.

Thanks for the insight! I took it to the shop, and you were spot on. They said the cable connection to the control unit was defective, causing a connection problem to the BUS system. They replaced the cable, and it cost me 155€. Everything seems to be working fine now.
