Thanks for the reply! No, the battery wasn't tested. I was thinking of getting a new battery but I'm afraid the new one will be discharged too if the problem is still there. How did you figure out it was the sensor? And which sensor was it in your case?

I didn't figure it out myself, to be honest. The garage diagnosed it. It was a battery sensor. I'd suggest getting it checked professionally before replacing the battery. Could save you some money and hassle.

Okay, thanks a lot for the advice! I took it to the workshop and you were spot on - it was indeed the battery sensor. Replaced it, and the problem is solved. Cost me 315€, but at least it's fixed. Thanks again!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my old Opel Astra. Turned out to be a faulty sensor draining the battery even when the car was off. Was the battery itself tested?
