Thanks for the quick reply! No visible leaks that I can see. As for 'strange', it's like there's less resistance than usual, and it travels further down. Spongy is a good way to describe it. Did yours feel the same?

Yes, that sounds very similar to what I experienced. Given that you've checked for leaks and the pedal feels spongy, it's quite likely air has entered the brake lines, or the master cylinder might be failing. It's best to have it inspected at a workshop to avoid a complete brake failure.

Took it to the garage as you suggested. Turns out the worn brakes were the culprit after all and after brake fluid replacement, the total damage was 480€. Thanks for the advice!

I also drive a Peugeot Expert, although it's a newer model. I experienced similar issues not long ago. Have you checked for any visible leaks around the master cylinder or brake lines? Also, what does 'strange' mean regarding the pedal feel – spongy, hard, or something else?
