Peugeot Expert cold start misfire

Hi, I have a 2005 Peugeot Expert with a gasoline engine. Recently, I've been having trouble with poor engine running in the cold start phase, making the vehicle start poorly. A mechanic suggested it could be a faulty cold start injector. Anyone else experienced this?

Hey, I have an Expert too. Sounds like it could be the fuel system. When it's cold, is it like misfiring? I had something similar, and it turned out to be a bad injector. Have you tried any injector cleaner or had a fuel rail inspection?

Thanks for the info! Misfiring is a good way to describe it. I haven't tried any injector cleaner yet, and I'm not sure how to do a fuel rail inspection. How did you diagnose the bad injector?

Well, in my case, the misfire was pretty consistent when cold. I took it to a workshop, and they did an injector test. That pinpointed the issue. If you're not familiar with fuel injection, it might be best to let a pro handle it. I ended up paying around 515€ for the whole repair.

Thanks for sharing your experience! It's helpful to know what to expect. I'll take it to a shop for an injector test as you suggested. Hopefully, that'll solve the problem.
