Peugeot Expert engine jerking
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Peugeot Expert is experiencing engine jerking, rough running, and stalling, with the check engine light on and reduced power. Possible causes include a mixture preparation error, a dirty throttle body, a failing oxygen sensor, a catalytic converter issue, or an intake manifold leak. The problem was ultimately diagnosed as a defective injector valve, which was repaired at a cost of 515€.

It has 52291 km. I haven't checked the throttle body yet, but wouldn't a bad catalytic converter usually throw a different code? And what about the intake manifold, could a leak there cause similar symptoms?

At that mileage, the O2 sensor or even injectors are plausible. A cat issue can manifest in weird ways, and yeah, intake leak too. Given the symptoms and mileage, it's getting harder to pinpoint without proper diagnostics. Probably time to get it to a workshop for a proper look.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. Took it to the shop, and you were right, it was a defective injector valve. Repair cost me 515€.

Mixture preparation error... Okay. Check engine light plus jerking could be a few things. Have you checked the throttle body for cleanliness? An oxygen sensor failing could also cause this, or even something further down the line like a catalytic converter issue. How many kilometers are on it?
