Peugeot Expert Injection Fault

My 2014 Peugeot Expert, gasoline engine, is showing signs of a faulty injection system at 245757 km. I'm experiencing higher fuel consumption, reduced power, engine stalls at idle, and smoke during acceleration. Suspecting a defective cable or plug connection. Anyone else encountered this?

Interesting. Does it feel like a fuel leak perhaps? I had similar symptoms – though on an older Opel Astra – and I was tearing my hair out trying to figure it out. Is the check engine light on?

A fuel leak that causes electrical malfunction? How did you find out it was fuel related?

Now that I think about it, saying leak was a little too quick on my part. The symptoms do correlate, but mine turned out to be fuel related because they ran a diagnostic at the workshop. Maybe you should have it checked too.

Thanks for the tip. Indeed it was just as I suspected, a defective plug in the system. Replaced it and it runs like new, now. Cost me 95€. Saved a bunch of time that I would have spent diagnosing it. Cheers!
