Peugeot Expert intermittent starting issue

Hey, got a weird one. My 2014 Peugeot Expert, gasoline engine, is acting up. 81k on the clock. Sometimes it won't start, other times it cuts out while driving. It's also running real rough sometimes. Any ideas? Checked the basics, but not sure what's up.

The symptoms you describe could be indicative of a few potential issues, although the intermittent nature is noteworthy. Have you observed any correlation between these incidents and specific conditions, such as ambient temperature or vehicle speed? Could you elaborate on 'the basics' you have already inspected? It may also be useful to know if any warning lights are illuminated on the instrument panel during these episodes.

No warning lights, and it seems random. 'Basics' meaning battery connections are good, and fuel is getting through. Anything specific I should be looking at? Maybe something with the ignition coil?

Given the absence of warning lights and the seemingly random nature of the problem, it does suggest a potential issue with the ignition system, although a defective fuel pump relay could also cause similar symptoms. While it is possible to test the ignition coil, this task can sometimes prove challenging. It would be prudent to have a qualified technician perform a diagnostic evaluation to ascertain the root cause of the problem. Do not perform any tests on your own.

Cheers, took your advice. Turned out to be a dodgy fuse. Workshop sorted it for 52€. Thanks!
