Peugeot Expert Reduced Engine Power

My 2023 Peugeot Expert diesel is giving me grief! Got 291739 km on the clock. I'm getting seriously reduced engine power, rough running, and it jerks like crazy when I try to accelerate. Plus, there's this LOUD hissing sound when I put my foot down, and the fuel consumption is through the roof! Think it might be the intake manifold flap control switch, any ideas?

That sounds rough. Intake manifold flap control, huh? Is the engine light on? And does it happen all the time, or just when the engine's cold?

Yeah, engine light's been on solid for a week. It's worse when the engine's cold, but it's still noticeable even when warmed up. Any thoughts?

Okay, engine light plus the cold start issues definitely points towards that intake manifold flap. It's a common problem, sadly. I'd get it checked out by a workshop ASAP before it causes more damage.

Cheers! Took it to the workshop, you were spot on. Defective intake manifold flap control. Cost me 465€ to get it sorted. Running like a dream now!
