Peugeot Expert Sunroof Error

The coding was related to enabling some daytime running lights functions and tweaking the indicator behavior. Nothing that, on the face of it, seems connected to the sunroof control. Is it feasible such seemingly unrelated changes could scramble the sunroof module's configuration? What would be the next logical diagnostic step?

While seemingly unrelated, modifications to the body control module (BCM), even for lighting functions, can inadvertently affect other systems. The BCM often serves as a central communication hub. Given the error message and symptoms, a dedicated diagnostic scan focusing on the sunroof module and the BCM's configuration would be advisable, ideally performed with manufacturer-specific diagnostic tools. A competent workshop should be able to recalibrate the sunroof, if that's indeed the issue.

Thank you for confirming my suspicions about the coding. I followed your advice and took it to a workshop with the appropriate diagnostic equipment. Turns out the sunroof needed a recalibration which cost 75€. All working now!

Given the symptoms and the recent coding changes, could you clarify precisely what coding was performed? Was it related to any comfort features or body control modules? Without knowing the specifics, it's difficult to diagnose the root cause with certainty, but coding errors can certainly manifest as seemingly unrelated electrical issues.
