Peugeot Expert Throttle Valve Issue

Having trouble with my 2015 Peugeot Expert gasoline. It's done 97471 km. Reduced engine power and the check engine light are on. I suspect a defective throttle valve, maybe the accelerator pedal module or some electronics are faulty. Anyone else had this?

Hey, I had a similar problem with my Expert, though I have the diesel version. The symptoms sound familiar. Did you notice any issues with engine idling or a delay when you press the accelerator? It might also be in limp mode.

Yes, sometimes the engine idling seems a bit off, and there's definitely a response delay when accelerating. Limp mode sounds about right too. What was the cause in your case, and was the replacement cost high?

Yep, sounds like the same thing. In my case, the garage diagnosed it as a faulty throttle valve related to the air flow. It's best to get it checked by a workshop; they can pinpoint the exact cause and give you a repair cost estimate.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a workshop, and they confirmed it was the throttle valve. The eventual repair cost was 265€. Appreciate the help!
