Interesting, I do notice it while braking. How did you pinpoint the undervoltage as the cause? What symptoms did you experience in your Renault?

Well, initially, I thought it was just worn brake shoes or something simple. But the feedback became more pronounced over time. Eventually, the car threw an error code related to the charging system and the brakes. The workshop diagnosed it as undervoltage affecting various components, including the regenerative braking. I'd suggest getting it checked out by a professional.

Thanks a lot! I took your advice and brought it to the shop. Turns out, the undervoltage issue was indeed the problem, messing with the braking system. They fixed it for 240€, and the weird pedal feedback is gone now. Really appreciate your help!

That's interesting. I had a similar issue with my old Renault Zoe. The weird feedback turned out to be related to undervoltage in the system messing with the regenerative braking. Does the iOn use regenerative braking? If so, maybe that's playing a part.
