Peugeot Partner check engine light slow warm up

I'm having some trouble with my 2021 Peugeot Partner (gasoline engine). The temperature gauge seems off, the check engine light is on, and the engine takes ages to warm up, especially now that winter's coming. I'm suspecting it might be a restricted cooling grille, but I'm not sure where to start. I've checked for any obvious blockages in front of the radiator, but everything seems clear. I also had a look at the fuses but couldn't find any related to the cooling system that were blown. Anyone experienced something similar?

Hey! I had similar symptoms with my Partner not too long ago. I didn't have the temperature issue, but the check engine light and slow warm-up were definitely there. Did you check the grille behind the bumper as well? It's easily missed and gets clogged up with leaves and other debris.

Thanks for the tip! I didn't think of that one. You mean the one that's kinda hard to reach without removing the bumper? How did you manage to clean it? Was it a pain to get to?

Yeah, that's the one. It's a bit of a pain, I admit. I didn't remove the whole bumper, but I did loosen it enough to get my hand in there. If you're not comfortable doing that, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. They'll sort it out quickly enough.

Thanks for the advice, I'll have a look at that grille behind the bumper and see if it's blocked. Otherwise I'll take it to a mechanic, I have the feeling that something might be defective in the thermal management of the engine. It turned out to be a defective fuse (52€), everything runs smoothly now!
