Did the symptoms align with what I'm seeing? And did a simple battery replacement fix it?

Yeah, pretty much the same symptoms. New battery did fix it temporarily. But it kept happening. Turned out something was draining the new batteries quickly. Ended up needing to take it to a workshop to get it sorted. Might be worth getting yours checked out if a new battery doesn't do the trick.

I've replaced the key fob battery, which fixed it for now. Cost 37€ for the battery and labor. If it happens again, I'll get it checked out.

Had similar on my old Volvo V70. Key fob was acting up, 'key not detected' messages and all that. Assumed it was just a dead key fob battery. Simple enough fix, right?
