Peugeot Partner OBD2 Readiness Issue

The error message only popped up AFTER I did the OBD2 readout. The check engine light wasn't on before. That's what's throwing me for a loop. So, did you ever figure out what caused it on your Megane?

Yeah, sounds familiar. The issue with my Megane turned out to be related to the onboard diagnostics needing a drive cycle to reset properly after the OBD2 tool was used. Unfortunately, I never managed to fix it myself. I ended up taking it to a workshop. They told me the car's computer just needed to go through its complete self-test process again. Perhaps it's worth visiting a workshop?

Thanks for the insight! I took it to the shop, and you were spot on. They said the OBD2 readout had interrupted some of the readiness monitors, and a simple system reset fixed it. No charge! Appreciate the help!

Interesting. I had a similar problem with my old Renault Megane, although it was a gas engine not electric. I kept getting a check engine light after I used an OBD2 scanner to clear some codes. Was the check engine light on, or did the error appear only after the readout? Did you try running the readiness tests again through the OBD2 scanner?
