Peugeot Rifter starting issue
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Peugeot Rifter with nearly 200,000 km was experiencing starting issues, suspected to be due to an interruption at Terminal 30 and a potentially faulty battery. The fuses were checked and found to be in good condition, leading to suspicions about the charging system. After taking the vehicle to a workshop, it was determined that the battery was heavily discharged and defective. Replacing the battery resolved the issue.

Battery light's behaving normally, which is throwing me off. When yours did this, was it a sudden thing, or did it slowly get worse? Did you ever measure the quiescent current?

It was gradual. I tried a few things, but honestly, in the end, I just took it to a workshop. They sorted it quickly.

Took it in. Turns out the battery was heavily discharged and defective. New battery and all is good. Cost me 290€ but hey, peace of mind.

I had a similar drama with my Rifter. I was convinced it was the starter motor. Is your battery light coming on at all?
