Thanks, I didn't think of that. Where's the brake light switch located, and how hard is it to test?

The switch is usually near the brake pedal. It's not too hard to reach, but testing it can be tricky without the right tools. Since you have an error stored, and based on my experience, I'd suggest taking it to a trusted shop. Don't want to make things worse.

I took it to a local shop, and it was a defective pedal switch, just like you said. The repair cost 95€. Thanks for the help!

I had a similar issue with my Pilot. Did you check the brake light switch? A faulty switch can stop the cruise control from working.
