Thanks for the tip! I haven't checked the SOS module connections yet, but I will now. As for the diagnostic codes, where can I find them? Is it something I can read myself, or do I need special equipment?

You'll need an OBD2 scanner to read the diagnostic codes. You can buy one or some auto parts stores will scan it for you for free. If it's the same as mine was, a defective cable or plug connection is the most likely cause. Honestly, for something related to the SOS system, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop to be on the safe side.

Thanks a lot for your help! I took it to the workshop, and you were spot on – it was indeed a defective plug connection! Cost me 95€ to fix, but at least it's sorted now. Really appreciate the advice!

I had a similar issue with my Pilot. Have you checked the SOS signal module's cable and plug connections? That's what caused my warning lights. Do you have any diagnostic codes? Knowing those could help narrow down the problem.
