Pilot Radio Reception Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2003 Honda Pilot is experiencing radio reception issues, with an error message on the infotainment system and no audio output. The problem is suspected to be related to the antenna. It is suggested to check the antenna ground, which is typically located near the base of the antenna. The issue was resolved by replacing the defective antenna at a workshop.

Antenna ground, huh? Where would I even find that thing on a Pilot? Is it usually easy to get to, or am I looking at a whole dashboard teardown?

On the Peugeot, it was tucked up near the base of the antenna itself. No teardown needed, thankfully. But honestly, if you're not comfortable poking around, best to get a workshop to take a look. Could be a simple fix, could be something deeper.

Appreciate the tip! Took it to the shop, and you nailed it. Defective antenna, 255€ later, it's sorted. Thanks for the help!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my old Peugeot, completely different car I know. But same symptoms: error message and no sound. Have you checked the antenna ground? It's like a loose wire on a lamp – can cause all sorts of weirdness.
