Sounds familiar. Had a similar connectivity issue with my old Fiat Punto. Was it a software glitch?

Interesting. A software glitch, you say? How did you pinpoint that? And what were the symptoms?

Symptoms were similar, engine light and occasional stalls. Diagnostics pointed to a communication fault. Ended up being a bad connection. Take it to a workshop; they'll sort it out.

Appreciate the insight. Turned out to be exactly as suspected: a defective plug connection. Cost 95€ to fix. Thanks!
