Thank you for the suggestion. I replaced the key fob battery, but the problem persists. Could you elaborate on whether you experienced similar symptoms beyond just the fuel flap not opening?

Yes, I experienced similar symptoms. The central locking was acting up intermittently. Eventually, I took it to a workshop, and they diagnosed a faulty actuator. It's probably best to get it checked by a professional.

Thank you for the advice. I had it checked, and it was indeed a faulty actuator. The repair cost was 210€. Your input was most helpful.

I had a similar issue with my Pixo. Have you checked the key fob battery? Sometimes a weak battery can cause issues with the central locking system, which might affect the fuel flap release.
