Pixo Key Battery Issue

My 2011 Nissan Pixo, gasoline engine, 57475 km. Key battery low warning. Keyless access fails, error stored. Unlocking/locking erratic. I suspect a dead key battery. Has anyone else experienced this?

The 2011 Nissan Pixo owner experienced issues with keyless access and erratic locking/unlocking, suspecting a dead key battery due to a low battery warning and stored error. Testing the spare key, which worked correctly, indicated the primary key's battery was likely the problem. A workshop visit confirmed the battery issue, and the repair cost was 37€.

I had something similar with my Pixo. 'Error stored in the error memory' sounds familiar. Did the spare key work correctly, or exhibit similar behavior?

Spare key hasn't been tested yet. If the spare works, does that pretty much confirm the battery issue?

While not a 100% guarantee, a working spare strongly suggests the primary key's battery is the culprit. Given the symptoms and warning, it's very likely a battery issue. I'd recommend a workshop visit.
