Pixo mirror heating problem

Hey, I've got a 2011 Nissan Pixo, gasoline engine. The mirror heating isn't working. Both mirrors don't heat up, and there's an error code when I scanned it. Any ideas? Mileage is only 25674 km, so it's not like it's ancient.

Hmm, sounds like an electrical fault to me. Have you checked the wiring and plug connections to the mirrors themselves? A faulty connection is a common cause. Especially after winter driving.

The connections are usually behind the mirror glass itself or where the mirror housing connects to the door. But if you're not comfortable with electrics, I'd seriously consider taking it to a workshop. Error code plus no heating points to a likely failure; could be the heater element, but it's best to confirm. It could also be a relay. Likely repair cost around 95€.
