Pixo no start

I've got a 2011 Nissan Pixo with a gasoline engine and it won't start. It's got about 165901 km on it. I think it might be an engine control malfunction. I checked the battery connections, but maybe I missed something?

The symptom aligns with a potential engine control malfunction. Ensure cable connections are clean and correctly tightened. Oxidation can impede current flow. Were there any recent ECU-related software changes or diagnostics performed prior to the issue?

No recent software changes or diagnostics, as far as I know. I'll double-check those connections, but what exactly should I be looking for? Any specific signs of corrosion I should focus on?

Visually inspect for white or greenish deposits. Also, ensure the cable lug is firmly attached to the battery terminal. Any play indicates insufficient contact. Considering the age of the vehicle, it would be advisable to have a workshop conduct a thorough diagnostic assessment.

Thanks for the advice! You were spot on. I took it to a mechanic. Turns out the cable connections were indeed the problem. They cleaned them up and tightened everything, and now it starts fine. Cost me 155€ in the end.
