Pixo power window failure

I'm having a strange issue with my 2011 Nissan Pixo, gasoline engine. After replacing the battery, the power windows stopped working completely. Both windows are unresponsive, and I'm getting an error message stored in the system. Has anyone experienced this before? I've checked the fuses, but they seem fine.

I also own a Pixo and had a similar problem after disconnecting the battery once. It sounds like the window regulator might need to be re-initialized. Did you try any reset procedures?

Re-initialized? No, I haven't. I wasn't aware that was even a thing. What does that involve? Is it something I can do myself, or does it require special equipment?

Yes, it's a common issue on some cars after power loss. I couldn't sort it out myself, and ended up taking it to a workshop to have it reset. They probably have the right diagnostic tool to do so.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a local garage, and they confirmed it was a window regulator initialization issue. Cost me 290€ to get it sorted. At least the windows are working again.
