Platina Overheating Bypass Valve Error

My 2006 Nissan Platina with a gasoline engine is showing a bypass valve error and overheating at 114688 km. Coolant level is fine, no leaks. Could the bypass valve cause this, or is it a symptom? Any ideas before I hit the workshop?

I had something similar with my Platina. Did you notice any power loss or weird engine sounds along with the overheating? I felt like something was off.

No obvious power loss or strange sounds, but maybe I missed something subtle. What error codes did your Platina throw, and what fixed it? That might help me figure things out.

The error was related to the exhaust system. I don't recall the exact code, but a good mechanic found the exhaust issue was causing the overheating, maybe from backpressure. If it's overheating, I wouldn't risk DIY without serious knowledge.

I took it to a workshop. Turns out there was a coolant leak, causing both the overheating and the error code. Simple fix, no parts needed. Repair cost was 0€. Thanks for the help!
