Porter automatic temperature control issue
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Hyundai Porter with a diesel engine experienced an issue with the automatic temperature control, which was not functioning and had an error stored, preventing the AC from switching on. A faulty interior temperature sensor was suspected as the cause. Upon inspection at a workshop, it was confirmed that a defective plug connection to the sensor was the issue, which was resolved by replacing the sensor and fixing the connection.

No, I haven't checked that yet. Where exactly is that sensor located in the Porter?

It varies, but it's usually somewhere near the dashboard. Honestly, if you're not comfortable tracing wires, it might be best to take it to a workshop. Defective cable/plug connection sounds plausible as a reason.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a shop, and you were right - it was a defective plug connection to the sensor. Sensor replacement and labor was 95€. All good now.

Sounds like it could be the sensor. Have you checked the sensor's cable and plug connection? That's a common culprit.
