Thanks for the tip. I haven't checked the fuse box and wiring yet, but I will definitely do that. My VW now has ga km on the clock and the last service was about 5000 km ago. Maybe that's where the problem lies. Your tip about the dirty sensor may also be helpful. Thanks for your help!

Hey, no problem, that's what we're here for. It really is a good idea to check the fuse box and wiring, as small electrical faults can often lead to bigger problems if left unattended. In my experience with the VW, there was also once a problem with the distance radar. It was a small thing, but it messed things up. So look at that too. If you have time, you can also take a look at the garage and maybe have the sensors cleaned. And remember to have the vehicle serviced regularly. This will save you such surprises. I hope I've been able to help you. All the best with your T!

Hey, thanks again for the reply! I will definitely check the fuse box and the wiring now. With so many kilometers I've already covered, a small fault like that can quickly lead to a bigger problem. The tip about maintenance and the distance radar is also helpful. I think I'll have to arrange a visit to the garage - and I'll definitely take more care with future maintenance. I really appreciate your help! Take care and have a safe journey.

Hi, I'm not an expert, but I do have a bit of experience. I had a similar problem with my VW Touran (model year Fels), similar to yours. I had a dirty sensor. It cost me 45 euros to have it cleaned at the garage. Have you checked the fuse box and the wiring? Maybe this is the problem, it could be similar to my car problem. Is there any more specific information about your vehicle that you can share? That might help us to help you better.
