Presage climate control panel dead

My 2005 Nissan Presage with a gasoline engine has a completely dead climate control panel. There's an error stored, the heating output is pathetic, and the AC won't turn on. I suspect a bad cable or connector. Has anyone else dealt with this? Any ideas before I tear the dash apart?

I had a similar issue with my Presage, though I didn't check the error memory. Is the blower motor working at all? Check the electrical connectors to the control panel itself. I'd start there before suspecting a deeper issue.

Yep, same symptoms exactly. I ended up taking it to a workshop, they told me the connectors were the main culprit. You can try cleaning them and see if it helps. Good luck!
