Fuel pressure was within spec during initial testing, but I suspect intermittent fluctuations that might not have been caught. What was the diagnosis in your case, and were there any other things I should look for?

It was the high-pressure fuel pump. The initial tests weren't conclusive, but the symptoms got worse. The garage confirmed with a more thorough check, and I had it replaced. You should get it looked at.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions. I took it to the workshop today, and the high-pressure fuel pump was defective, which caused the regulator to act erratically. Repair cost was 1510€. I appreciate it!

I had similar symptoms with my Nissan President. Check engine light, stalling, and performance dip sound very familiar. It could be a fuel delivery problem. Have you checked the fuel pressure?
