President IAT Sensor Issue

Good point about the wiring, I'll check that. But could a bad connection really cause all those symptoms? Also, assuming the connection is good, how much temperature difference would mean the sensor is bad?

That's beyond my specific knowledge, but even a slightly off reading from the IAT sensor can mess up the engine's fuel mixture and timing. If the wiring is good, and you still have those symptoms and the error code, the sensor itself is probably the problem. A workshop should check it.

Thanks for the advice, it helped confirm my thoughts. A new IAT sensor fixed the problem; the car runs great now. It cost 155€.

I'm no expert, but bad temperature readings can cause engine issues. Could it be a bad connection? Check the wiring to the IAT sensor for corrosion or damage. Does the temperature reading on your scanner seem way off?
