President radar sensor issue

Thanks for the quick reply! Yes, by error memory I mean the stored diagnostic trouble codes. Where exactly behind the bumper is the sensor located? Is it easily accessible, or will I have to remove parts to get to it?

Okay, DTCs. It's usually in the center, low down. You might be able to reach it by just reaching under, but honestly, you're probably better off removing the bumper cover for a proper clean. However, if cleaning doesn't fix it, it might need radar calibration, or worse, a replacement. At that point, a workshop visit is in order.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I cleaned the sensor, and that did the trick. Cost me 45€ to buy the cleaning supplies. I thought it was gonna be a lot more than that!

Hey, I had a similar issue with my Nissan President. The 'driving assistance' systems went haywire, showing errors and triggering the collision avoidance system unnecessarily. Have you checked the sensor itself? Road grime can mess it up. It's located behind the front bumper. Also, just for clarification, by error memory, do you mean when a computer stores diagnostic trouble codes?
