Previa check engine light and stalling

The light's pretty consistent. I haven't really noticed a massive hit to fuel economy, but now that you mention it, it might be slightly worse. What kind of wiring issue could cause that, and where should I start looking? Could wrong fuel cause such error?

A defective cable or plug connection to the component can cause that error. Given the symptoms and error code, and that the light is consistently on, I would suggest having a workshop take a look. It could save you time and prevent further issues. This is an easy fix for a professional. I estimate around 95€.

Thanks a bunch for the advice! I took it to a local shop, and you were spot on – it was a defective cable connection. They fixed it up, and the light's gone, and it runs like a champ. Saved me a lot of guessing!

Incorrect fuel composition is often related to sensor readings. Is the check engine light consistently on, or is it intermittent? Has fuel economy been affected? It could be a faulty sensor, a wiring issue, or even the fuel itself. Have you tried running a fuel system cleaner?
