The engine hasn't stalled completely, but the idling is noticeably rough and uneven. How did you resolve the issue you experienced? Any details regarding the troubleshooting steps would be appreciated.

Alright, mine was mostly rough idling and poor cold starts. Honestly, I got frustrated poking around and just took it to a workshop. Turns out, the issue was indeed the heater circuit. They replaced a faulty connector, cleared the code, and everything was back to normal. Cost me about 95€, parts and labor. Might be worth having yours checked out by a professional if you're not seeing anything obvious.

I appreciate the information. Based on your experience, I'll take it to a workshop for a diagnosis and repair. It's reassuring to know it can potentially be resolved easily and inexpensively.

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I had almost the exact same symptoms on my Previa a while back – rough idle, the whole shebang. I didn't even consider the fuel filter heater at the time, figured it was just a bad batch of diesel or something. Was your engine stalling too, or just idling rough?
