Primastar Blower Motor AUC Sensor Fault
Summary of the thread
The blower motor in a 2010 Nissan Primastar diesel is not functioning, with diagnostics indicating an AUC sensor fault. The issue is suspected to be due to a bad cable or plug connection, particularly around the climate control unit behind the dashboard. A similar problem was resolved by addressing a faulty connection, and in this case, the workshop identified and repaired a corroded AUC sensor connector.

No recent HVAC work, but thanks for the pointer. By 'climate control unit', do you mean behind the dashboard, or in the engine compartment?

Yes, behind the dashboard. It might be worth having a workshop take a look if you're not comfortable digging around there. A bad AUC sensor can cause this. I had a similar problem with my BMW AUC (air quality sensor) and I took it to a workshop.

Thanks, that confirms my suspicion. I took it to the workshop. The AUC sensor connector had corroded. Repair cost 95€.

I had a similar issue with my Primastar. Have you checked the wiring harness around the climate control unit? A faulty connection there can definitely cause the blower to stop working due to a faulty AUC sensor reading. Any prior work done on the HVAC system?
