Primastar check engine light air valve hose

Hey, I had something similar with my Primastar. Check engine light driving me nuts! Is it affecting your idle at all? Mine was all over the place, and the manifold pressure seemed off. I'd definitely start by checking all the hoses connected to the air supply – could be a simple fix like a cracked hose causing a leak.

Yeah, the idle thing confirms it sounds like the same problem. Honestly, I'm no mechanic, but I poked around the air intake area, near where the air valve sits. Eventually, I gave up and took it to a workshop. They found a split in one of the hoses, replaced it, and the light went off. Saved me a headache!

Thanks, I took it to a shop and they found the defective hose connection from the pump to the valve, like I thought. Cost 175€, but it's fixed now. Thanks again!
